All across American Fantasy Football teams were sent into tailspins with the announcement that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver suffered a broken foot in the team’s 27-26 victory over the New York Giants Sunday night. But Bryant wasn’t the only top-level fantasy pick to go down Sunday and his injury wasn’t the worst to hit potential 2015-16 playoff teams.
Bryant was mostly a non-factor in the game against the Giants after suffering from dehydration in the opening half. Bryant broke a bone in his right foot in the second half and could miss three-to-six weeks.
Jerry Jones said Dez Bryant needs a screw in his foot. Says he'll miss 3-6 weeks probably.

The good news for the Cowboys is how other receivers, namely Terrance Williams and Cole Beasley stepped up in the game with the Giants, helping quarterback Tony Romo make the clutch plays down the stretch and keep all the attention off All-Universe tight end Jason Witten. Williams is probably being added to fantasy rosters all over the country as I type this.
Suggs out for the season
Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs won’t get the chance to rack up roughness fines or knock any other NFL players out for the season himself after suffering a torn Achilles in Sunday’s 19-16 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Losing Suggs is a major blow to the Ravens’ defense, but not one they can’t replace with either rookie fourth-round pick Za-Darius Smith or Elvis Dumervil. The long-term impact could be on Suggs’ career with the Ravens. If Smith plays well in his stead, there’s little chance the Ravens will keep the more expensive Suggs around next season. There’s a good chance he’s played his last down as a Raven.
Concussions claim multiple victims Sunday
Football’s archenemy the concussion showed up for Week One of the season, taking out multiple star players, with none having a bigger impact than Carolina Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly.
Luke Kuechly is out with a concussion. Status for next week will depend on how he progresses in protocol.

The St. Louis Rams lost one of their starting corners, Trumaine Johnson, to a concussion not long after he made a spectacular interception against the Seattle Seahawms.
The most dramatic concussion was suffered by Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown who was diving into the end zone, only to be cold-cocked and fumble as he spun into the paint unconscious. It was a play that pretty much sums up McCown’s career.
Josh McCown saw a lane.

Jets rookie linebacker Lorenzo Mauldlin left their game against the Browns with a concussion in the fourth quarter after getting caught in a pile up of players. Mauldlin may have also injured his neck and was taken from the field in an ambulance.
Ravens left tackle Eugene Monroe left Sunday’s game with a concussion.
The Miami Dolphins lost tight end Dion Sims to a concussion.
Enough about heads, let’s talk about other body parts
Bryant wasn’t the only fantasy football star to finish Sunday on crutches. Indianapolis Colts wideout T.Y. Hilton left Sunday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills with a knee injury. Luckily for the Colts, it’s minor, but Hilton may still need a few weeks to come back.
Irsay: X-ray on TY Hilton's knee was negative, just a bad bruise. Likely still out a few weeks.

Running back Frank Gore also left that game with a calf injury.
The Oakland Raiders got a scare Sunday when quarterback Derek Carr left their game against the Cincinnati Bengals with an injury to his throwing hand. According to head coach Jack Del Rio the X-Rays came back negative, but Carr will likely miss at least one game.
Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson pulled a hamstring against the Dolphins Sunday and didn’t come back into the game.
Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie left their game against the Browns with a knee injury and luckily only sprained it, avoiding an ACL tear.
Lost in the celebration of Marcus Mariota’s insanely good rookie debut was a hand injury to one of his best offensive weapons, tight end Delanie Walker. Walker was reportedly spotted after the game wearing a cast.

Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas also injured his hand Sunday against the Ravens and reportedly had an X-Ray on it after the game.
Broncos running back C.J. Anderson sprained his toe in the game, but isn’t expected to miss any time.
Demaryius Thomas dealt with a hand injury… Likely to get X-Ray.. Also, CJ Anderson said he sprained his toe. #Broncos
