The Jacksonville State Gamecocks head to square off against the Louisiana State Tigers at Tiger Stadium this week. The game will air Saturday, Sep 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPU.
In last week’s matchup, LSU suffered a narrow defeat against Wisconsin 16-14. Travin Dural had a good performance in the loss, pulling in five receptions for 50 yards and one TD. Leonard Fournette had a great game as well, adding 138 rushing yards on 23 carries. Jacksonville State is hoping for another victory like last week’s performance, when it defeated North Alabama 31-12. Eli Jenkins had a quality performance through the air for the Gamecocks, connecting on 20 of 34 pass attempts for 230 yards. He added 101 yards and a TD on 13 carries. Roc Thomas had 71 rushing yards and three TDs on 20 carries.
