Jeremy Lin won the NBA championship with the Toronto Raptors last season, but after they released him, he has been struggling to find a new team. He hasn’t received any attention from NBA teams this summer, which left Lin feeling like he hit hit rock bottom.
However, Lin is attracting plenty of attention overseas. It was first reported that CSKA Moscow is planning to offer him a deal, and now the most recent reports say the Beijing Shougang Ducks of the Chinese Basketball Association are willing to give him $3 million contract.

According to Shanghaiist, the two sides are currently locked in negotiations, and we should expect the outcome in the next few days. Lin always wanted to play in the NBA, and he expressed his desire to stay in the league for the upcoming season, but he also previously stated that he would consider an opportunity to play abroad.
“About five years ago, I began to consider whether I should play basketball in Asia,” Lin said in July. “Because every year when I visit the region I see so many fans, and they make me want to play a few seasons in the region.”
