Kennesaw State Owls – FGCU Eagles Preview – 02.20.2016

The Kennesaw State Owls (10-18) finish out the regular season on the road at Alico Arena when they square off with the FGCU Eagles (16-12). The game gets underway at 7:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 20 and will air on ES3.

The Eagles were victorious over Lipscomb 82-67 on Thursday. With 25 points and 12 rebounds, Marc-Eddy Norelia recorded his 11th double-double this season. The Owls are coming off a 92-82 win over Stetson on Thursday. Yonel Brown shot 10 for 17 and led in scoring with 28 points.

Norelia has really been playing well as of late for the Eagles, averaging 19.8 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.6 blocks over the last five games. Brown has also been on a tear in the same span, averaging 23.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steal, and 3.0 three-pointers while leading the Owls.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Eagles won the first game 79-74. Kendrick Ray was a top player in the game with 31 points, three rebounds, three assists, one block, and three three-pointers.
