It will be a meeting between two of the nation’s top scoring defenses when the Lipscomb Bisons (11-19) challenge the Kennesaw State Owls (10-19). The game gets underway at 7:30 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 25 and will air on ES3.
The Bisons edged Stetson 77-74 the last time they played. Garrison Mathews led all scorers on the team with 21 points on 7-for-14 shooting. The Owls are coming off a 68-63 loss to FGCU in their last outing. Kendrick Ray had a good shooting night, leading the game with 25 points.
Over the last five games, Yonel Brown has been on a tear for the Owls. During that stretch, he has averaged 21.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.8 steals, and 2.8 three-pointers.
This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Owls won the first game 102-86. Nick Masterson was a standout player in the game, producing 24 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and four three-pointers.
