Kennesaw State Owls – North Florida Ospreys Preview – 01.16.2016

The Kennesaw State Owls (5-13) will have a tough time bringing their 10-game road losing streak to a stop when they take on the North Florida Ospreys (14-6), who have won nine in a row at home. Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Saturday, Jan. 16 and will air on ES3.

The Ospreys beat Lipscomb 95-83 on Thursday. Trent Mackey was the game’s leading scorer with 24 points on 6-for-9 shooting. The Owls, meanwhile, are coming off an 83-70 loss at the hands of Jacksonville on Thursday. Kendrick Ray had a game-high 25 points.

Over the last five games, Chris Davenport has taken his game to another level for the Ospreys. During that stretch, he has averaged 14.4 points, 10.0 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 0.6 steals, 2.0 blocks, and 1.4 three-pointers. Ray has also upped his play in the same span, averaging 22.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.8 steals, and 2.2 three-pointers while leading the Owls.
