Doc: ‘Never been more proud of a group of guys’ | ESPN
The Los Angeles Clippers lost the series against Golden State in six games, but head coach Doc Rivers is happy with what his team showed this season.
“I’ve never been more proud of a group of guys in the 20 years that I’ve coached,” Rivers said after his team’s loss. “They were just really fun. As I’ve said before, I’ve never had a group where you wanted to, in the morning, you raced to the car, you raced to practice just because you love being around them. So for me, it was just a pleasure to coach them.”

Portland Trail Blazers’ center Enes Kanter suffered a separated shoulder injury late in the series with Oklahoma City Thunder and now is uncertain to feature against Denver Nuggets or San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference semis.
“I think the Blazers are doing a very good job taking care of it. But, I mean obviously, I’m not going to lie, it hurts pretty bad. I mean I’m having a hard time changing my shirt or eating food. So it’s a process. We’re just taking it day by day, see how it feels,” said Kanter.
