KSW 31: MMA Odds From Poland

Poland sees the KSW 31 MMA event go down this Saturday, and the sportsbooks have posted odds for most of the nine-fight card.  The feature fight has local heavyweight superstar Mariusz Pudzianowski taking on veteran Rolles Gracie.  “Pudzian” is a former world’s strongest man and the most recognizable athlete on the card for the Polish crowd.

That main event is supported by two title fights, as middleweight champion Michal Materla defends his KSW belt against UFC veteran Tomasz Drawl and heavyweight title-holder Karol Bedorf defends his belt against hard-hitting Peter Graham of Australia.

It will be interesting to see how KSW reacts to offers by the UFC for the winners of these two bouts.  Potentially, Materla who is already 21-4 and has to be on the radar at middleweight, and Bedorf (11-2) could be of interest to the UFC. The company recently did a show in Poland that was well received but rather light on local talent.  Bedorf has an impressive five-fight winning streak already, and heavyweights are hard to come by.

The card also sees a pair of light heavyweight encounters as Goran Reljic takes on former Bellator champion Attila Vegh and Karol Celinski faces off against Tomas Narkun.  The winners of the two fights are likely to face each other at a future KSW event.

The match with a line at the books sees middleweight veteran Jay Silva return to Poland for the fourth time, as he faces Aziz Karoglu, a fighter who has been largely inactive, fighting just once in the last five years.
