Lafayette Leopards – Lehigh Mountain Hawks Preview – 02.21.2016

The Lehigh Mountain Hawks (12-14) try to extend their six-game winning streak when they take on the stumbling Lafayette Leopards (5-21) at Stabler Arena. The game gets underway at 12:00 pm ET on Sunday, Feb. 21.

The Mountain Hawks edged Navy 77-74 on Wednesday. Jesse Chuku had a good game, finishing with 22 points, four rebounds, and one steal for the Mountain Hawks. The Leopards, meanwhile, are coming off a bitter 60-59 loss to American on Wednesday. Zach Rufer played well for Lafayette, recording 14 points, six rebounds, and three assists.

Over the last five games, Tim Kempton has really been playing well for the Mountain Hawks. During that stretch, he has averaged 18.2 points, 11.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.0 block.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Mountain Hawks won the first game 87-72. Kempton put up 22 points and 13 rebounds.
