Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur can be grateful it’s him and not one of his star players. Still, he can’t be too happy to have suffered a torn Achilles tendon while playing basketball Wednesday night on a court at Lambeau. LaFleur is scheduled for surgery Sunday and shouldn’t miss any coaching time.

Reuben Foster goes under the knife
It’s official. Washington Redskins linebacker Reuben Foster will miss all of the 2019 season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL. Foster injured his knee during the Redskins first organized team activity on May 20.
#Redskins LB Reuben Foster, who underwent successful surgery from Dr. James Andrews on Tuesday, suffered a torn ACL and LCL, sources say. The LCL was the additional damage. Foster is already raising his leg and should be good to go for the 2020 regular season.

Suh ignores rep as dirty player
Newly acquired Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh rejected his characterization as a dirty player, in spite of numerous fines from the league for that very problem. He blamed the media and social media for the perception.
