The LeBron and AD era has officially arrived. One of the NBA’s newest duos put on a show in the first half of Saturday’s preseason opener as the Lakers rolled past the Warriors, taking the first victory at Chase Center 123-101.
It was the first look at Anthony Davis, and really an entire new Lakers team. They wasted no time in putting the league on notice. Davis put up 22 points and 10 rebounds in 18 minutes while James scored 15 points to go along with eight assists with the same amount of minutes.

New Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was more than pleased with what he saw from his team on Saturday night, especially Davis.
“He’s a monster,” Vogel told reporters after the game. “It’s going to be very difficult to slow him down with what we had around him. I’m excited about what he’s going to do, and Lakers fans should be, too.”
If this game is to be any indication, this will be a very fun season for Lakers fans.
