The Los Angeles Lakers dominated the Washington Wizards 125-103 on Friday night, extending their win streak to 10 games and hitting several other franchise milestones in the process.
The Lakers also got to rest their stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, as they were up by 26 heading into the fourth quarter. As LeBron James was shown saying after the game, it was easy money for the LakeShow.

The win put the Lakers at 17-2, the best record in the NBA. Moreover, it ties their best start in franchise history, which was last achieved by the 2008-09 squad. In addition, they closed out the month of November with a 14-1 record, their best performance in a single month since March of 2000. It also marked the first time the Lakers have had a double-digit winning streak since they won 11 straight games in 2009-10.
These records and milestones should be a sign of great things to come for Lakers fans, as they all share one common trait: the teams who held those records all went on to win the NBA Finals in their respective seasons.
The Lakers hope to open December as strong as they finished November, but they have a gauntlet of a schedule coming up. They have the Dallas Mavericks, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, and Minnesota Timberwolves, all teams over .500 and in the playoff picture, lined up this week. But if November is any indication, the Lakers are more than ready.
