For the New England Patriots, the search for a tight end is never-ending. Thursday, the team worked a trade with the Detroit Lions to add Michael Roberts to their roster in exchange for a conditional 2020 seventh round draft pick. Roberts was a fourth round pick in 2017 with the Lions. Last season Roberts caught just nine passes for 100 yards, but did have three touchdowns.

Kenny Moore not going anywhere
As difficult as it’s been for the Indianapolis Colts to improve their defense in recent years, they definitely aren’t letting their good players go. Thursday the team announced they had reached a four-year, $36 million extension with cornerback Kenny Moore. The deal comes with $16 million in guaranteed money. Moore was entering the final year on his contract as an undrafted free agent out of NCAA Division II Valdosta State. Moore recorded 77 tackles, four for a loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, 11 passes defended and three interceptions last year.
The #Colts and CB Kenny Moore have agreed to terms on a 4-year extension, source said, one that makes him the highest paid slot CB in the NFL on new money. He had a year left, then an RFA tag. This replaces the tag and more. He can also play outside, but is their starting slot.
