Little Rock Trojans – Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks Preview – 02.11.2016

The Little Rock Trojans (21-2) will attempt to extend a six-game winning streak when they compete against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (11-12) at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The game gets underway at 8:00 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 11.

The Warhawks edged Appalachian State 91-90 in their last game. Nick Coppola led all scorers on the team with 25 points on 9-for-13 shooting. The Trojans, meanwhile, are coming off a 74-43 win over South Alabama in their last outing. Josh Hagins stood out for Little Rock, posting nine points, seven rebounds, and six assists.

Over the last five games, Justin Roberson has really been playing well for the Warhawks. During that stretch, he has averaged 19.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.6 three-pointers. Hagins has also been on a tear in the same span, averaging 14.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.0 steal, and 2.4 three-pointers while leading the Trojans.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Trojans won the first game 58-57. Roberson was a top player in the game with 17 points, six rebounds, one steal, and three three-pointers.
