It’s the finale of a show I never watched a minute of, but that doesn’t matter. Roy Jones Jr. (61-8, 44 KOs) is back in action at the age of 46 and that’s probably why we’re all watching.
Jones takes on Eric Watkins (12-9-2, 5 KOs) a fresh from the gym jobber who’s apparently stepping in for William Bailey, who was supposed to be sacrificed in the Jones Jr. comeback tonight.
There are more fights. I have no idea who they are so we’re all experiencing this together. Don’t know what channel NuVo is on your cable system? I’ll tell you as I find out.
Show starts at 7 p.m. No idea when they’ll start boxing since this also will serve as the season finale of the Knockout reality show I literally just heard of last week. So good job advertising that, NuVo.
