We’re trying again to begin the NFL Preseason and this time I think we’ll do it. The Jimmy Garoppolo era officially begins tonight as the New Orleans Saints travel to Foxboro for an NFL exhibition contest against the New England Patriots.

It’s time to get ‘Back to Football’ and NFL Network remains the go-to destination to do so, with five live games, re-airs of every Week 1 preseason game and a special preseason edition of NFL RedZone with Scott Hanson.
NFL Network’s Week 1 live schedule begins Thursday, August 11 when the New England Patriots host the New Orleans Saints at 7:30 PM ET – the first nationally televised preseason game of the year. Editions of NFL Total Access on Thursday air at 6:00 PM ET, during halftime of Saints-Patriots and postgame with hosts Dan Hellie and Lindsay Rhodes, and analysts Steve Mariucci and David Carr.
On Friday, August 12, NFL Network provides a doubleheader of live preseason games, starting at 7:00 PM ET with the Pittsburgh Steelers hosting the Detroit Lions. At 10:00 PM ET, the Arizona Cardinals host the Oakland Raiders. Editions of NFL Total Access on Friday air at 6:30 PM ET, and during halftime of Lions-Steelers and Raiders-Cardinals with host Lindsay Rhodes, and analysts Eric Davis and Terrell Davis.
NFL Network’s Week 1 live schedule continues Saturday, August 13 when the Seattle Seahawks travel to face the Kansas City Chiefs at 4:30 PM ET. Editions of NFL Total Access air Saturday at 4:00 PM ET, during halftime of Seahawks-Chiefs, following the conclusion of the game and at 11:00 PM ET with hosts Rhett Lewis and Colleen Wolfe, and analysts Eric Davis, Terrell Davis and Heath Evans.
NFL Network’s Week 1 live schedule concludes Sunday, August 14 at 7:00 PM ET with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Houston Texans. Editions of NFL Total Access air Sunday at 6:30 PM ET, during halftime of Texans-49ers and following the conclusion of the game with hosts Dan Hellie and Lindsay Rhodes, and analysts Heath Evans, Daniel Jeremiah and Eric Davis.
Additionally, NFL Network provides complete game re-airs of every Week 1 preseason game.
