Live Blog: NHL Finals – Predators at Penguins

It's the Penguins. It's the Predators. It's Hockey and I have no idea what I'm doing!

Like an astronaut landing on a new planet, I’ve decided to explore this hockey thing and I hope you’ll come along for the the ride. Tonight, the Stanley Cup Finals begin with the Pittsburgh Penguins hosting what I have been told is “my team,” the Nashville Predators.

Usually with these live blogs, I feel I can grant some real insight, some solid commentary and a few jokes. Tonight, it will mostly be jokes. Plus, maybe a drinking game based on my ability to pronounce one of these wacky foreign names correctly on the first try. If I don’t, take a shot. We’ll also chug a beer every time a mullet hits the screen. I expect to be very drunk.

As always, scroll on down for the live blog. Keep reading for the press release from the NHL.
