For both teams it’s a chance at redemption, but will either show up and deserve it. We’ll find out tonight when the Cincinnati Bengals (0-1) host the Houston Texans (0-1) on Thursday Night Football.

The 2017 Thursday Night Football Presented by Bud Light season kicks off TONIGHT when the Cincinnati Bengals host star defensive end J.J. Watt and the Houston Texans at Paul Brown Stadium at 8:25 PM ET EXCLUSIVELY on NFL Network. Texans-Bengals will also be available on local stations in Houston (KPRC) and Cincinnati (WLWT).
Play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico and analyst Cris Collinsworth, along with reporter Heather Cox call the action from Cincinnati.
At 6:00 PM ET on NFL Network, TNF GameDay previews the Texans-Bengals matchup from Cincinnati, with host Rich Eisen and analysts Marshall Faulk, Michael Irvin and Steve Mariucci live from inside Paul Brown Stadium.
Outside the stadium, host Melissa Stark and analyst LaDainian Tomlinson join TNF GameDay from NFL Network’s MediaCruiser, a mobile set which will allow for the network to broadcast from any location and provide an opportunity to interact with fans across the country in an intimate setting, offering a great TV viewing experience. New this season, the MediaCruiser will broadcast on-location from the majority of Thursday Night Football sites, as well as NFL Network’s on-location coverage of events such as Super Bowl and NFL Draft.
NFL Network’s MediaCruiser will be a part of a sweepstakes this Thursday Night Football season: “Spot It. Post It. Win It.” As the MediaCruiser goes from city to city each week en route to the next Thursday Night Football game, fans who spot the MediaCruiser, take a picture of it and post it to Twitter or Instagram with #TNFSweepstakes have a chance to win weekly prizes from the NFL’s sponsors.*
Pregame coverage on NFL Network continues with Football Night in Cincinnati at 7:30 PM ET, providing the final say leading up to kick-off between Texans-Bengals.
At halftime, Eisen, Faulk, Irvin and Mariucci break down the first half. Immediately following the game, the postgame show airs live from Paul Brown Stadium, with Eisen, Faulk, Irvin, Mariucci and Tomlinson providing highlights, analysis and live interviews. Additional postgame coverage continues at 12:30 AM ET from Los Angeles with Chris Rose, Willie McGinest, David Carr and DeMarcus Ware on NFL Total Access: Endgame.
Once again, the NFL and Nike have teamed to light up Thursday Night Football with the return of NFL Color Rush, featuring bold, full-color uniforms inspired by current and historic team colors and designs.
All of the NFL’s proceeds from the sale of Color Rush jerseys go directly to the NFL Foundation to fund youth health, safety and wellness programs around the country.
