Longwood Lancers – Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs Preview – 02.20.2016

The Longwood Lancers (8-20) will travel to Paul Porter Arena to meet the Gardner-Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs (14-14) in their home finale. Action begins at 7:00 pm ET on Saturday, Feb. 20 and can be seen on ES3.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs enter this game hoping for similar success after topping Charleston Southern 84-76 on Thursday. Isaiah Ivey was a key piece with 16 points, three rebounds, and two assists. The Lancers, meanwhile, are feeling some disappointment after their 88-80 loss against High Point on Thursday. Darrion Allen led the team in scoring with 22 points.

Lotanna Nwogbo has upped his play for the Lancers, averaging 18.2 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks over the past five games.

This is the second game of the year between these two teams, with the Runnin’ Bulldogs winning the first matchup 67-66. Allen finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
