Los Angeles Angels – Boston Red Sox Preview – 07.01.2016

Steven Wright (8-5, 2.18 ERA) takes the hill for the Boston Red Sox (42-36) as they square off against Jhoulys Chacin (3-6, 5.64 ERA) and the Los Angeles Angels (32-47) in the first of a three-game series at Fenway Park. David Ortiz (.336, 36 Rs, 18 HRs, 63 RBIs, 2 SBs) went 1 for 4 Wednesday. Chacin went 4.2 innings, surrendering four runs and walking four in a 7-3 defeat to the Athletics in his last outing. Mike Trout (.323, 56 Rs, 17 HRs, 53 RBIs, 11 SBs) has been successful at the plate for the Angels, going 2 for 3 Wednesday with one run.
