Israel Tucker (39 rushing yards on 10 attempts, one TD) led the running attack. Adrian Hardy (nine receptions, 125 yards) and Alfred Smith (eight catches, 105 yards) handled the receiving duties in the defeat.
Hawaii just earned a 31-30 win over San Diego State. Cole McDonald completed 29-of-46 passes for 452 yards and three touchdowns. Miles Reed (47 yards on 12 rush attempts) led the running game as Marcus Armstrong-Brown (seven receptions, 86 yards) and Cedric Byrd (six catches, 140 yards, one TD) led the pass-catching attack in the win.
Louisiana Tech has run the ball on 47.3 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Hawaii has an overall rush percentage of 43.0 percent. The Bulldogs have run for 126 yards per game and have 19 scores on the ground this year. The Rainbow Warriors are logging 114 rushing yards per game and have 11 total rush TDs.
It appears that the Bulldogs should own an edge in the trenches, since their offensive line has yielded only 24 sacks while their D-line logged 21 sacks. The Rainbow Warriors, on the other hand, have given up 30 sacks and their defense has sacked opposing QBs just 24 times.
