The marquee event on the European Tour is the BMW PGA Championship. It takes place at Wentworth Club in Surrey, England. There are ten former Major champions in the field. Also in the field is last year’s winner Matteo Manassero who won a playoff against Marc Warren. “I always look forward to this week in May that gave me such a lot of amazing experiences.” Manassero said, “It is a great memory for me, and I hope to do it again.”
Golf Picks
It is somewhat of a surprise to see Donald listed as the favorite. McIlroy has played pretty well this year but still hasn’t put together four great rounds. This could be the week. The other interesting choice among the top contenders is Francesco Molinari who has finished in the top ten in this event in his last two starts. There are some live longshots this week like Jonas Blixt who has played well in European events and Alejandro Canizares. We get Blixt at golf odds of 45-1 and Canizares at odds of 72-1.
