Baseball takes its show to London this weekend, and while the travel is onerous and disrupts the flow of a season, Yankees and Red Sox players seem to be enjoying it. Their social media feeds certainly seem to think so, anyway. Elsewhere on Thursday, starters for the All-Star Game in Cleveland were announced, with a couple of surprises —and great reactions from players. We also had two sets of back-to-back home runs at (where else?) Coors Field and a Mike Trout feel-good special.
The Red Sox and Yankees will play in the home of the West Ham United soccer club. First, on Thursday, they got to be tourists.

Exhilarated to watch the game I’ve lived and loved for so long through the eyes of a new generation of fans! London, you’ve been amazing so far. Can’t wait for the #LondonSeries this Saturday and Sunday with FOX and ESPN. pic.twitter.com/dHeSf51LZI

Being an All-Star is still a special honor for players, especially when it’s their first time. Peep the reaction from the Diamondbacks’ Ketel Marte.

It was a Coors Field special in Denver, with the Dodgers hitting two sets of back-to-back home runs and still needing a four-run rally in the ninth to subdue the Rockies, 12-9.

Mike Trout makes us smile, too.
If you got a ball from @miketrout, you wouldn’t stop smiling either. pic.twitter.com/IY1w2Xzgeq
