The Tigers, meanwhile, are feeling some disappointment after their 72-62 loss against Temple on Thursday. Shaq Goodwin had a good game for Memphis, registering 16 points, five rebounds, and three blocks.
Trips to the foul line may prove key for the Tigers in this one. They’re ranked 31st in the nation in FTA rate (43.4), while East Carolina is among the best at keeping opponents off of the charity stripe (ranking 12th by allowing a FTA rate of 27.1).

Teams with weak ball handling have not fared well against the Tigers, who rank 43rd in the nation with 7.6 steals per game.
In their previous meeting this season, East Carolina beat Memphis, but the win was not enough to overtake Memphis in their recent head-to-head series. Its record is now 3-7 SU over the last few meetings. With a 7-3 record, the Pirates have the advantage ATS.
