Miami Heat Open as Slight Dog for NBA Finals

NBA odds:  The Miami Heat have indeed lived up to the hype that was generated in 2010 when LeBron James announced to the world that he was taking his talents to Sough Beach as they are gunning for a “Three peat” NBA world championship after having disposed of the Indiana Pacers in 6 games to clinch the Eastern Conference championship.  The Heat opened as a +109 underdog choice to win the 2014 NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs, a team that had them dead to rights in the NBA Finals last year only to let them off the hook as the Heat pulled off a miraculous comeback to win in 7 games.

A Healthy Choice?

The Heat will enter action with the NBA Finals Odds with no injuries to report but that does not mean that players are not ailing.  But the “Big Three” of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh have proven to be ready and deadly when games matter most as prove by their four consecutive Eastern Conference titles.  James has been dominant in the playoffs with 27.1 points per game.

Until Proven Otherwise

The Miami Heat have proven to be the most resilient team in the NBA and a team that always finds a way as proven last year in their epic game 6 comeback win over San Antonio with the NBA Finals Odds as they were eyeball to eyeball with extinction.

Assessment

James is clearly the difference and it is not even close.  The Spurs may be a solid team but their lack of a go-to do or die scorer that can save games is the difference between these two teams and why we think the Heat make for a great and proven championship power dog in this series!
