The Punisher, Reds rookie outfielder Aristides Aquino, continues to punish at a historic rate. Elsewhere, the Cardinals welcomed back catcher Yadier Molina from the injured list, just in time for the stretch run. Speaking of pennant races, Carlos Santana provided another game-winning home run for the Indians, who find themselves in first place.

At some point, Aquino will slow down. It looked like that time had arrived, but not so fast: He homered in the eighth inning Monday, setting a Major League record for most homers in 12 career games.

The Cardinals get Molina back for the pennant race. But at the same time, they lose a key bench piece, Jose Martinez.

The first-place Indians flashed their flair for the dramatic once again. Specifically, Carlos Santana flashed his flair for the dramatic.

Speaking of hot hitters. Bo Bichette had four more hits and has 15 extra-base hits in 15 games. But he wasn’t the only one Monday night; the whole Blue Jays team was raking.

Former Angels player Doug DeCinces avoided jail time for insider trading. Instead, he will pay a fine and serve eight months of home detention.
