Already, it’s been a big week for the internet in terms of baseball predictions. Furthermore, Wrigley Field fans know what they’re talking about sometimes.
Here we have a video of Yasmani Grandal, and MLB game attendee Greg Hoffman. It’s likely you didn’t know Greg before today. However, he won the internet when Yasmani Grandal signed a recent deal with the Chicago White Sox.

Of course, Hoffman knew this in June. After checking out the video, here’s what he says.
“You’re going to The Cell [U.S. Cellular Field] next year, that’s the rumor.”
Now, either Hoffman has friends in high places in Chicago; is a lucky guesser, or has some good intuition. Also, he predicted that Grandal would get ‘a lot of money’. Therefore, here’s what he says to close the video exchange with Grandal.
“You’re gonna get paid a lot of money next year, for the White Sox. A lot of money next year, that’s the rumor.”
Indeed, Grandal got the big money deal north of $80 million dollars and became one of baseball’s first free agents signed. Not only can Grandal hit with the best of them offensively, but this all couldn’t have happened to a nicer fellow.
Finally, they say things like this happen in threes. Don’t surprised if another odd prediction from weeks or months ago by a baseball fan makes way to the public via the internet in the coming weeks.
