Monmouth Hawks – Marist Red Foxes Preview – 02.09.2016

The Monmouth Hawks (19-5), the Metro Atlantic Athletic’s top scoring team, will meet the Marist Red Foxes (5-17) at McCann Center. Action starts at 7:00 pm ET on Tuesday, Feb. 9.

The Red Foxes come into this game on a high note after beating Siena 79-73 on Sunday. Brian Parker was the team’s leading scorer with 24 points on 8-for-11 shooting. The Hawks, meanwhile, are coming off a 91-67 win against Fairfield on Friday. Austin Tilghman was the team’s top scorer, accounting for 16 points on 6-for-7 shooting.

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Hawks won the first game 83-72. Justin Robinson was a standout player in the game, producing 28 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and six three-pointers.
