The Murray State Racers will be at Lantz Arena to play the Eastern Illinois Panthers in an Ohio Valley matchup. The game starts at 9:30 pm ET on Thursday, Feb. 25 and will air on CCS.
The Panthers edged Southeast Missouri State 71-68 in their last game. Demetrius McReynolds fueled the Panthers, recording 19 points and 12 rebounds to notch his fourth double-double this season. The Racers are coming off a 76-60 win over Austin Peay in their last outing. Damarcus Croaker had a good game and claimed his first double-double of the season, accumulating 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Trae Anderson has really been playing well as of late for the Panthers, averaging 19.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.6 blocks over the last five games. Jeffery Moss has also been on a tear in the same span, averaging 20.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.6 steals, and 4.6 three-pointers while leading the Racers.
This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Racers won the first game 68-58. Wayne Langston was a standout player in the game, producing 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block.
