There may not be a more competitive conference in the country, when it comes to recruiting, than the Atlantic Coast Conference. That should come as no surprise, with the likes of Duke, North Carolina, and other powerhouses dotting its lineup.

The class of 2015 was particularly interesting to follow, as late commits, decommitments, and new coaches made their mark on the conference’s outlook going forward.

Read more to see which schools dominated the competition.

1.) Duke Blue Devils

Shocker, Mike Krzyzewski is bringing in a another top notch recruiting class for the Blue Devils. Headlined by three five-stars, including Brandon Ingram, who has turned heads as much as anyone in the class recently, Duke is set to rebound nicely after winning the National Championship.

2.) Louisville Cardinals

If we included transfers in the rankings, UL might even grab the top spot here. Nonetheless, Rick Pitino is reloading once again with the likes of Donovan Mitchell and Deng Adel, both of which should make immediate impacts for the Cardinals.

3.) Florida State Seminoles

Dwayne Bacon is the gem of the class that will go a long way in determining whether or not Leonard Hamilton will continue his reign as head coach at FSU. Throw in Malik Beasley, and this is one of the best classes in the country.

4.) Syracuse Orange

Syracuse needed a serious influx of talent and depth all over their roster, but perhaps no where more so than at the two forward spots. Well, Jim Boeheim addressed that in 2015 by bringing in three four stars at those spots, and a four-star shooting guard.

5.) Virginia Tech Hokies

Few coaches around the country are as charismatic as Buzz Williams, and it is showing with his first recruiting class, made up of three four-stars and two highly regarded three-star prospects.

6.) Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Much of the country is waiting for Wake Forest to make their way back towards the top of the ACC, and this 2015 class will go a long way in assisting that ascent. Doral Moore is one of the most underrated center prospects in the class, even as a four-star.

7.) Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Mike Brey isn’t known for bringing in McDonald’s All-Americans, but when you can land players like Matt Ryan and Rex Pflueger, you don’t need to. Brey’s signature with this class is, fit.

8.) North Carolina Tar Heels

There’s no doubt that the investigation into UNC’s academic behavior has hurt Roy Williams on the recruiting trail, as this class is not up to North Carolina standards.

9.) Clemson Tigers

Ty Hudson is a very nice grab for the Tigers, who so often are flooded with athletes but lack the necessary skill to put together a season of consistency.

10.) Boston College Golden Eagles

Forced to make do with under the radar prospects, the Golden Eagles might have found a diamond in the rough with A.J. Turner.

11.) Pittsburgh Panthers

A small class, but four-star shooting guard Damon Wilson is a skilled, physical two-guard that should step right in and contribute.

12.) Miami Hurricanes

If Miami wants to recreate the recent success they have enjoyed, they’ll need to make the most out of Florida’s talent pool, something they struggled with this cycle.

13.) Virginia Cavaliers

This 2015 class was never going to be a big one for Tony Bennett, but they’re off to a strong start in 2016.

14.) North Carolina State Wolfpack

Another small class for NCSU, the Wolfpack are looking forward to a big class in 2016 with several spots opening up.

25.) Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Unfortunately, GT isn’t getting much of a sniff from the top prospects in the Atlanta area anymore.
