Navy Midshipmen – Holy Cross Crusaders Preview – 01.30.2016

Don’t expect a high-scoring game when the Navy Midshipmen (15-6) visit Holy Cross to play the Crusaders (8-12). The game starts at 1:05 pm ET on Saturday, Jan. 30.

The Crusaders were beaten by Loyola Maryland 71-54 on Wednesday. Karl Charles was the team’s high scorer, finishing with 17 points. The Midshipmen are coming off a 63-58 loss at the hands of American on Wednesday. Tilman Dunbar had a good shooting night, leading the team with 14 points.

Half-court execution will be at a premium as Holy Cross ranks 322nd in the nation in possessions per game (65.9 possessions per game), while Navy is 343rd (64.4).

This will be the second matchup of the season between these two teams. The Midshipmen won the first game 65-60. Despite the loss, Charles was a top performer in the game with 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block, and one three-pointer.
