There are plenty of games on the NBA schedule this week, meaning there are loads of NBA betting opportunities. Can the Atlanta Hawks break out of their horrendously long losing streak? Can the Lakers and Clippers keep rolling at Golden State’s expense? Let’s take a look at the NBA’s best bets for the upcoming week.
Boston Celtics at New Orleans Pelicans – Monday, November 26th
The Celtics find themselves in a bit of a tailspin with their 1-4 SU and ATS record over the past five games. Particularly troubling was their 117-109 loss to the Knicks as a 14.5-point home favorite, though they were at least able to bounce back from that loss with a win over the lowly Hawks. Boston has covered just three of their last 12 games and they have a single cover in their last eight road games.
The Pelicans haven’t been all that great either and are coming off a loss to the Wizards. However, they will be playing this one at home where they have won five straight and eight of their last nine. They have covered in three of their last four at home and are in a good position to take advantage of a reeling Celtics squad.
My Pick: New Orleans Pelicans ATS
Toronto Raptors at Memphis Grizzlies – Tuesday, November 27th
The Raptors have bounced back from a three-game skid to win their last four games in a row against the vastly inferior competition. They have won seven of their last eight road games and are 4-2-1 ATS in those wins. Memphis’ loss to the Clippers ended their streak of five straight wins and covers but they are still 7-2 SU and ATS in their last nine outings.

Memphis has been significantly better at home having put up a record of 7-1 SU and ATS and this bodes well for them heading into this one. Memphis has been successful against some stiff competition recently and they should be expected to show up against the Raptors. Memphis has been making money for those who back them against the spread and that trend should continue on Tuesday.
My Pick: Memphis Grizzlies ATS
Los Angeles Lakers at Denver Nuggets – Tuesday, November 27th
The Lakers continue to heat up having won their last three and seven of their last eight. They are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five road games and they are just a single game behind the division-leading Clippers. The Lakers have been playing as well on the road as they have at home.
Denver has also been playing well of late with three wins and covers in a row including their latest victory over the Thunder. Denver has had LA’s number over the past couple of years when these teams meet up and those games have tended to be high-scoring. Neither team has been making money for over bettors but they should be able to exceed the total in this one.
My Pick: Over
Atlanta Hawks at Charlotte Hornets – Wednesday, November 28th
The Atlanta Hawks have now lost 10 games in a row and 14 of their last 15 overall. They have one cover in their last five games and their only road win of the season was against the lowly Cavaliers. They have been sucking money out of the wallets of those who dare to take them ATS and they have been giving up loads of points lately.
Charlotte might not be world beaters, but they have played very well in their last three games with wins over Indiana and Boston. They have covered three straight and five of their last seven and they have been one of the better teams to take ATS this year.
My Pick: Charlotte ATS
Los Angeles Clippers at Sacramento Kings – Thursday, November 29th
The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the hottest teams in the league with eight wins in their last 10 games during which time they have gone 7-3 ATS. It’s also worth mentioning that their last seven games have cashed in tickets for over bettors. While they are definitely a better team at home, the Clippers have been playing much better on the road.
Sacramento has cooled off a bit having won only four of their last ten games, although they are 2-1 SU and 3-0 ATS in their last three games. Like the Clippers, Sacramento has been a solid over bet recently with their last five games going over the total. However, only two of Sacramento’s eight home games have gone over the total so far. The Clippers have won eleven straight in Sacramento and eight of those matches went over the total.
My Pick: Over
