Several NBA teams made big moves over the offseason and assembled good rosters. Now, we have LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Los Angeles Lakers, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on the Los Angeles Clippers and James Harden and Russell Westbrook on the Houston Rockets.
The big question is which tandem in the NBA is the best and has the edge over the rest. Kobe Bryant doesn’t believe that two players are enough to win the championship, and he says that is more important who is playing around them.
“It doesn’t matter. I think it matters what they put around those two guys, and then what is the offensive and defensive system they’re going to be executing,” Bryant said. “You could have marquee names and put those marquee names together, and guess if they could play together or not, but it ultimately comes down to what system do you have them in and how does that affect the rest of the guys.”

Bryant has a point here because it takes much more than just two superstars on a roster to make things work. Alongside the stars, the role-players, coaching staff and front-office have to come together to make everything work.
