According to ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, free-agent forward Marcus Morris is considering an offer from the New York Knicks, despite agreeing to a deal with the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
Reporting with @MarcJSpearsESPN: Free agent Marcus Morris — who committed to a two-year, $20M Spurs deal w/ player option — is re-considering agreement. Morris is now considering a free agent deal with Knicks, who'll have additional cap space with reworking of Bullock deal.

Morris agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract with San Antonio, but considering the deal is still unsigned, he is now looking to possibly to take an offer from the New York Knicks. The Knicks are working on reworking a two-year, $21 million contract they offered free-agent guard Reggie Bullock, and open up the cap space necessary to land Morris.
This would be rough for the Spurs, who had to trade forward Davis Bertans to the Washington Wizards in order to create enough space to acquire Morris and they also got forward DeMarre Carroll via a sign-and-trade deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
Additionally, Gregg Popovich’s side reworked Carroll’s contract, which was initially agreed upon as a two-year, $13 million deal, but the Spurs managed to restructure the deal and make it worth three-years and $21 million, to have enough money to bring Marcus Morris.
On the other hand, Reggie Bullock still didn’t sign the original offer made by the Knicks, and there are some concerns about the player’s fitness and whether he is capable of playing the entire season.
ESPN Sources: The New York Knicks and free agent Reggie Bullock are re-working an original two-year, $21M deal, with both sides motivated to find an agreement with new terms. Agent David Bauman and the Knicks are re-evaluating Bullock’s fitness to play a full season in 2019-20.

Bullock averaged 11.3 points in 63 games (60 starts) in the 2018-19 campaign, when he played for the Detroit Pistons (44 games) and the Los Angeles Lakers (19).
Morris spent the previous two seasons with the Boston Celtics and averaged 13.9 points and 6.1 rebounds in 75 games (53 starts) in the 2018-19 season.
The New York Knicks already acquired three power forwards this summer: Julius Randle, Bobby Portis and Taj Gibson, so Morris’ potential arrival would give David Fizdale plenty of quality options at the position.
