Zion Williamson signed a multiyear partnership with NBA 2K. He joined the elite list of active NBA players who have similar deals. LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Stephen Curry also have a partnership with NBA 2K while NBA legends Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade are part of the team as well.

Even though we don’t know the specifics of Zion’s deal, we do know that previous similar partnerships included appearances at game launch and promo events, participation in 2KTV segments, and the in-game broadcast before games and at halftime. Williamson will likely find himself on the cover of a NBA 2K game in the future. New Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis will appear on the NBA 2K20 regular cover while Dwyane Wade is on the front of the Legend edition of 2K20.
“I’m excited to officially join Team 2K and be a part of this global phenomenon, where people around the world can play as me,” Williamson said. “I’m ready to put my imprint on basketball culture and be a part of the team that represents what’s next in the sport.”
Zion got a pretty respectable overall rank for the upcoming 2K20 video game at 81, which is the highest rating for a rookie since John Wall’s 81 in 2K11.

The game will officially launch on September 6.
