The Milwaukee Bucks withstood a second-half charge from the Boston Celtics to win Game 4 104-102 on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Bucks have evened their first round series at 2-2. Boston may have lost the game, but they were able to cover the spread for bettors. Online sportsbook BetDSI pegged the Celtics as a six-point underdog prior to tip-off. The game just barely went over the total of 204.
The Greek Freak continues to shine
This series has been a coming out party for Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak has been incredible, averaging 27.8 PPG, 8.5 RPG, and 6.5 APG through four games. He came through again when it mattered most in this game, tipping in a missed Malcolm Brogdon attempt with five seconds left for the decisive score.
In addition to stuffing the stat sheet, Antetokounmpo has been incredibly efficient. He went 12-20 from the floor on Sunday afternoon and is now hitting 61.9 percent from the field in this series. It’s been his play that has led to the Bucks evening the series more than anything else.
Boston’s comeback
The Celtics looked like they were done at halftime of this game. The Bucks went into halftime with a 51-35 lead, and the home crowd was expecting their team to easily put it away from there.
However, Boston roared back in the second half. The visitors came all the way back to take the lead late, but they couldn’t complete the feat. Jaylen Brown was the leader of the comeback attempt, coming through big throughout the second half. He finished the day as the game’s leading scorer with 34 points. Brown went 13-24 from the field.
What’s next
