Florida Atlantic just fell 31-7 to Marshall. The defensive unit allowed the Thundering Herd to kill the clock by rushing for 233 yards on 48 attempts, including two rush TDs. Tyler King put up a solid outing in the win for Marshall, recording 125 rushing yards and a score on 21 attempts. For Florida Atlantic, Chris Robison completed 18-of-35 passes for 223 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions. Devin Singletary (39 rushing yards on 16 attempts) and Kerrith Whyte, Jr. (40 yards on 10 carries) mounted the running game while Jovon Durante (seven receptions, 114 yards) and Harrison Bryant (six catches, 59 yards, one TD) led the receiving attack in the loss.

Louisiana Tech’s run the ball on 49.8 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Florida Atlantic has a rush percentage of 57.6 percent. The Bulldogs have run for 147 yards/game (including 131 per game against Conference USA opponents) and have 12 scores on the ground this year. Similar to the Bulldogs, expect a balanced attack offensively from Florida Atlantic this Friday. Jovon Durante, Devin Singletary and Harrison Bryant have combined to account for 643 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns as a trio over the last two outings.
