The San Diego State Aztecs just earned a 21-17 win over Air Force. The defensive unit allowed the Falcons to run for 214 yards on 51 rush attempts, including two rush TDs. Isaiah Sanders was a bright spot in the defeat, recording 49 rushing yards on 15 attempts for Air Force. For San Diego State, Ryan Agnew completed nine-of-25 passes for 213 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Chase Jasmin (70 yards on 18 rush attempts, one TD) handled the ground game in the win as Fred Trevillion (three receptions, 94 yards) and Tim Wilson Jr. (three catches, 50 yards) led the receiving attack.
San Jose State has run the ball on 45.1 percent of its offensive possessions this year while San Diego State has an overall rush percentage of 66.4 percent. The Spartans have produced 50 rush yards per game (including 44 per game against Mountain West opponents) and have six scores via handoffs this year.
