The fifth episode of the College Football Throwdown Podcast is out!
Ej the Rainmaker and Erik the Hun are back again, and this round revolves around the games this weekend. Our hosts set the table for the college football weekend, with plays and predictions galore.
We all suddenly became weathermen this week, as another storm is a brewin’, and headed for Florida. Hurricane Irma follows up Hurricane Harvey, so buckle up everyone. How it effects the football games this weekend, is also a concern.
With the storm in mind, the games will hopefully be played, so let’s get to the field.
We start with one of the games that was moved to Friday from Saturday, due to the storm moving in. Central Florida and Memphis had their game moved to Friday, and we offer up a play on the total.
Totals seemed to dominate the show for Ej this weekend, and underdogs were all over Erik’s thinking process.
Over a dozen games made the discussion sheet this weekend, and as usual, there is even more. Every week, both Ej and Erik offer up a handful of extra plays to take advantage of. We call those the honorable mention list, but they hold the same value as any other play we suggest.
Thinkdog will never die, and that term goes back over 20 years for me personally. Thinkdog was a forum I personally ran for 10 years, and it still exists. In fact, I have the link to the old site still active.
Ej and Erik plan on helping you do one thing this college football season. The goal is to make those #MoneyTreesGrow, and we offer advice to help the cause. Our goal is to kick Vegas in the teeth, and help our listeners take in some extra bread. Everyone needs a little support system, and we hope to provide just that.
Catch us again on Tuesday, for our Dummy of the Week segment, and a recap of this weekend’s games.
