New Orleans Pelicans – Charlotte Hornets Preview – 03.09.2016

The Charlotte Hornets (34-28) play the visiting New Orleans Pelicans (24-38) at the Time Warner Cable Arena. The game begins at 7:00 pm ET on Wednesday, Mar. 9 and can be seen on FSN and FxS.

The Hornets enter this game hoping for similar success after topping the Timberwolves 108-103 on Monday. Kemba Walker led all scorers on the team with 34 points on 12-for-20 shooting. The Pelicans, meanwhile, are coming off a 115-112 win against the Kings on Monday. Anthony Davis had a good game, accounting for 31 points and 10 rebounds to claim his 31st double-double of the season.

Walker has been playing at a high level as of late for the Hornets, averaging 26.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 0.6 steals, and 3.0 three-pointers over the last five games.
