Not only did Robert Kraft surrender any attempt to battle the New England Patriots’ DeflateGate punishment Tuesday at the NFL Owner’s Meeting in San Francisco, but some actual work got done as well.
The NFL approved the competition committee’s proposal to move the post-touchdown extra-point try to the 15-yard line for 2015, creating a 33-yard attempt. The ball was previously snapped from the two-yard line where kickers enjoyed a 99 percent conversion rate.
The two-point conversion will be at the two-yard line and the defense will be able to score on an attempt if they return a turnover to their own end zone.
NFL passes competition committee proposal on PAT, moving kicks back to the 15. LOS for 2-pointers is still the 2, D can now score on them.

Union asks federal court to hold NFL in contempt
Claiming the league and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell “have deliberately ignored both the court’s decision from 11 weeks ago and our repeated requests to comply with that order,” the league has requested the NFL and Goodell be held in contempt for refusing to life Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson’s indefinite suspension as ordered by the court on Feb. 26.
