Reports surfaced today that Antonio Brown has recovered enough from his frostbitten feet that he should be returning to practice soon. The Oakland Raiders plan to evaluate Brown Saturday and make a determination of when he can suit up with his teammates.
One note on #Raiders WR Antonio Brown: Sounds like he’s very close to practicing and should do so next week. I imagine you’ll see a thing or two about that on the show. https://t.co/SGFoYkMp1k

Will Andrew Luck be ready for Week 1?
After Andrew Luck’s calf injury turned into a high ankle sprain, the Indianapolis Colts have been preparing to open the season without him. Reportedly, the team will settle on who will start Week 1 after the third preseason game. Will it be Luck?
According to Chris Mortensen, Indy is feeling pretty good about it. Mort uses the term “guarded optimism,” which has all sorts of positive vibes behind it. If Luck can’t go, the team will line up with Jacoby Brissett for at least a game.
There is a "guarded optimism" about Andrew Luck being ready for the @Colts regular season opener. Guarded, for obvious reason, but maybe the optimism is a surprise

In other Colts news, the team lost wide receiver Daurice Fountain for the season after he suffered a fractured and dislocated ankle at Thursday’s practice. Fountain was a fifth round pick out of Northern Iowa in 2018. He appeared in one game for the Colts last year and did not record a stat.

Lions remove Damon Harrison from Non-Football Injury list
Damon Harrison will finally get to practice with the Detroit Lions after the team removed him from the Non-Football Injury list Thursday. Harrison has been on the NFI list since he returned to the team from what amounted to an offseason hold out where he skipped all their workouts and mandatory minicamp.

Harrison still has two years left on his current deal and is due to make $6.75 million this season. In 2018, he was traded at the deadline from the New York Giants, meaning he got the rare opportunity to play in 17 regular season games. He recorded 81 tackles, nine for a loss, 3.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one pass defense.
