Suspended Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory will ask the NFL to be reinstated after being indefinitely suspended by the league back in February. Gregory has repeatedly run afoul of the NFL’s outdated drug policy, that will likely be changed significantly during the upcoming collective bargaining negotiations with the NFLPA. The Cowboys have offered Gregory their full support and have extended his contract through the 2020 season.

Kupp brothers happy to both be Rams

Cooper Kupp is a breakout star for the Los Angeles Rams and, with a full 16-game season, could be a breakout star in the NFL too. The Rams drafted Kupp out of the Eastern Washington in 2017 in the third round and he was one of the steals of the draft, as he and JuJu Smith-Schuster of the Pittsburgh Steelers have separated themselves entirely from their fellow 2017 wideout draft class. In a season and a half, before tearing his ACL, Kupp has 102 receptions, 1,435 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Rams signed his brother Ketner as an undrafted free agent linebacker this offseason.

Thompson hopes his forever home is with Panthers

Shaq Thompson is coming off his best year as a pro. Now in the fifth-year option of his rookie contract and due to become a free agent, the linebacker is hoping he can stick with the Carolina Panthers, the team that drafted him in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. Last season Thompson recorded 79 tackles, four for a loss, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one pass defense.
