Is it possible after the trade requests to begin the week that all could be well with Jalen Ramsey and the Jacksonville Jaguars?
The team scored a convincing 20-7 victory over their arch AFC South rivals, the Tennessee Titans Thursday and the season suddenly doesn’t seem so dire with the emergence of rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew II.

Friday morning, perhaps cooler heads have prevailed and, failing that, money could be talking. Jaguars owner Shad Khan publicly stated that he’s willing to make Ramsey the NFL’s highest paid corner. If the Jaguars are going to move Ramsey, it’ll take a mint to acquire him — at least two first round picks.
Ramsey, for his part, has decided to no longer talk about the trade request, which is a good sign that he might be staying put after all. Winning and a big truckload of cash can fix a lot of problems.
Dolphins will start Rosen, add Charlton
The Ryan Fitzpatrick era is over in Miami. And while it might not come with the same gravitas as other quarterback changes and injuries this week, it’s worth noting because the team is finally handing the keys to second-year quarterback Josh Rosen.
Sources: The #Dolphins have made a big move. QB Josh Rosen is set to start vs. the #Cowboys on Sunday. Coach Brian Flores made the decision this afternoon.

It’s a smart move for the tanking Dolphins. If Rosen, the former first round pick out of UCLA, has the NFL goods, they can use this bevy of picks that tanking has given them on other valuable positions, or trade them away for more first round picks.
Or, you know, trade Rosen if he shows his first-round worth for another first round pick. Really, anything could happen with Miami purposefully circling the drain.
Miami Dolphins: we have claimed Taco Charlton

They did make an acquisition, scooping off former Dallas Cowboys first rounder Taco Charlton off the NFL scrap heap. If the Dolphins have their quarterback and can turn Charlton into a real NFL pass rusher, that’s two spots they won’t have to look out with their multiple first rounders over the next couple of years.
