With center David Andrews out indefinitely with blood clots in his lungs, the New England Patriots worked the phones, acquiring Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor for a draft pick. The pick and full trade details have yet to be released.

Eluemunor, at worst, will add depth as the Pats shuffle their line. Currently they have Ted Karras penciled in as the new starting center until Andrews returns.
The former Ravens guard started three games over the last two seasons. Eluemunor was originally a fifth round pick out of Texas A&M in 2017.
Bills lock up Hauschka with 2-year deal
Kickers were a hot topic Wednesday, with the Buffalo Bills closing out business locking up one of the better boots in the game. The Bills and kicker Stephen Hauschka agreed on a two-year extension worth $8 million.
“I’m super excited,” Hauschka said. “We’ve come to love this place. It’s such a great place to work and raise a family. The culture and environment we get to work and play in every single day is amazing. We’re going to turn this thing around and win a bunch of games here and I’m excited to be a part of it.”
Bills signed K Stephen Hauschka to a two-year contract extension.

The kicker converted 78.6 percent of his field goals last season and split the uprights from beyond the 50 four times. Buffalo isn’t the easiest place to kick, so the Bills are smart to solidify that position with a guy that can navigate the weather.
Broncos Jake Butt to go under the knife
Jake Butt just can’t catch a break. The tight end will need another surgery, this time a “minor procedure” to clean up his knee after he experienced soreness.

Butt tore his ACL last season and missed 13 games. He missed all of 2017 with an injury. The former 2017 fifth round pick out of Michigan has played in just three total NFL games, catching eight passes for 85 yards.
