Following up an earlier story that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft wanted a Rob Gronkowski return, it doesn’t look like that will happen.
Since then, a few things a have changed. One of those is not the Patriots unbeaten streak, they won again last week. However, Gronkowski tells TMZ that he’s not going to make an NFL comeback. Remember, Gronk is currently signed with FOX to be an NFL analyst.

Indeed – with this quote – Gronkowski is trying to leave little doubt about his true intentions.
“When I retired, I retired for a reason: because I needed to step away,” Gronk said. “So, it would be a ‘no.’ There it is. I never say ‘no,’ because I’ve said ‘no,’ and everyone’s like, ‘Yeah … he’s kidding. He’s coming back,’ … But it’s a ‘no.’ In my mind, that’s how it is. It’s a no.”
For Gronk, there’s nothing left to do but be happy and be retired. Whatever the next chapter in his life holds aside from playing the game of football, I’m glad there was a Gronkowski in sports. He was an entertaining figure who could really bring it.
