Every NFL team needs to double check its WiFi and ethernet connections because the Supplemental Draft begins Wednesday at 1 p.m., with teams required to submit their picks via email.
In all, five players have tossed their hats into the Supplemental Draft after issues arose that kept them from continuing their NCAA careers after the regular NFL Draft. The highest ranked is reportedly Washington State safety Jalen Thompson, who had 26 teams show up at his workout at the end of last week.

The rest are Syracuse linebacker Shyheim Cullen, Northland (Minn.) tight end Debonair Clarington, West Virginia wide receiver Marcus Simms and St. Francis defensive back Bryant Perry. Simms and Thompson will almost certainly be drafted with a mid-round pick. There’s a good chance most, if not all, get selected as this is a quality group not usually available in the Supplemental Draft. Either way, they’ll all likely land on NFL rosters for training camp as undrafted free agents if no one turns in their name.
Supplemental Draft is tomorrow and two guys are probably going to get drafted.

Teams sacrifice a pick in next year’s draft equal to the pick they submitted in the Supplemental Draft. So, for instance, if a team uses a fifth round pick on Thompson, they won’t have that pick in 2020.
Last season two players were selected in the Supplemental Draft, cornerback Sam Beal by the New York Giants with a third round pick and cornerback Adonis Alexander by the Washington Redskins with a sixth rounder. No players were selected at all in 2016 and 2017.
Duke Johnson fires his agent
Cleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson has fired his agent, Kristin Campbell, after failing to talk the team into trading him away this offseason. Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens has publicly stated the team has no interest in trading Johnson.
Some agent news: #Browns RB Duke Johnson has moved on from his previous representation and is currently without an agent. Johnson had requested a trade from Cleveland and stayed away during most of the offseason. Will a new agent take it in a new direction?

Last season Johnson appeared in all 16 games for Cleveland and started two. He carried the ball 40 times for 201 yards and averaged five yards per carry. He caught 47 passes for 429 yards and three touchdowns.
