Carli Lloyd is a two-time FIFA Women’s Wold Cup Champion and twice she’s won Olympic Gold medals. Tuesday, while visiting the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles, she might have won an NFL kicking job.
Lloyd, after just a few kicking pointers from kickers Jake Elliott and Justin Tucker, buried a 32-yard attempt. Then, just showing off, she split the uprights on a 55-yarder.

It’s just like the Ravens to add another kicker that other teams would be desperate to have. Maybe the Chicago Bears should give her a call?
Details released in Cowboys deal with Jaylon Smith
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Jaylon Smith was due to make a little over $2 million this season. After re-upping with the Cowboys Tuesday, he’s getting a significant pay raise.
Smith’s deal is for five years and $64 million with $35.5 million in guaranteed cash. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was his normal low-key self at the press conference announcing the details.
“Y’all have been badgering my ass to get a contract done for the last three weeks,” Jones said. “This is a contract story. And this is a contract story that is not just this year or not just next year, this has it all. It has overcoming. It has talent. It has rewarding an ambition. Or it just has the beginning of what ambition will get you in the future. That’s the biggest, most exciting thing about this.”

Smith, who didn’t play as a rookie due to a terrible knee injury suffered at Notre Dame in his final year, is now the third highest paid linebacker in the NFL.
“You (the Cowboys) took a risk, a $4.5 million risk, had I never been able to play again,” Smith said. “So me understanding that, it was my duty for them to get the return on their investment. They’ve been able to do that. And now I’m fortunate enough to really be a Cowboy for life, is what I want. I’m thankful to be here, for sure.”
