It took all offseason, but the NFL has finally negotiated a pass interference rule to implement in the 2019 season. The NFL Competition Committee will now allow instant replay for pass interference calls for this year only. After the two-minute warning in each half, replays can only be called for by a replay official.

Nkemdiche busted for traffic accident
Arizona Cardinals defensive end Robert Nkemdiche was picked up on an outstanding warrant for a speeding violation he recorded on June 6. Nkemdiche was cited after speeding on his way to practice, going 75 m.p.h on a 45 m.p.h. street in North Scottsdale. Nkemdiche was driving on a suspended license.

Thomas and Saints far apart in contract talks
Star wide receiver Michael Thomas and the New Orleans Saints have entered contract extension negotiations, but are reportedly nowhere close to a deal. Both sides would like Thomas to stay right where he is. Thomas is in the final year of his rookie contract.
