Here is a look at your Tuesday Fantasy Six.
Left Wing – Henrik Zetterberg – Detroit Red Wings
Zetterberg and the Red Wings will host the Arizona Coyotes at 7:30 p.m. ET. Arizona has lost nine out of their last ten and ranks 28th for goals against in the NHL. It all bodes well for a big night by Detroit. Zetterberg has one goal and nine assists in his last ten games and leads Detroit in scoring on the season with 16 goals and 43 assists.
Center – Ryan Getzlaf – Anaheim Ducks
Anaheim is at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday with faceoff time set for 7 p.m. ET. The Ducks should bounce back big after their horrific 7-2 loss at the New York Rangers on Sunday night. Getzlaf has four goals and three assists this month but has cooled off with just one goal and two assists in his last five games. The Ducks captain is Anaheim’s leading scorer with 23 goals and 43 assists. Columbus ranks 25th in the NHL for goals against and 24th against the power play. That bodes well for Getzlaf and the Ducks.
Right Wing – Vladimir Tarasenko – St. Louis Blues
Tarasenko and the Blues are at the Pittsburgh Penguins with faceoff time at 7 p.m. ET. Tarasenko is continuing his breakout season with four goals and six assists in his last ten games for a total of 35 goals and 35 assists on the season.
Defenseman – Ryan McDonagh – New York Rangers
The red hot Rangers host the goal starved Los Angeles Kings on NBCSN at 7 p.m. ET. McDonagh is a plus-seven in seven games for the month of March with two assists and has seven goals and 18 assists on the season. The Kings have lost three out of their last four and have scored just give goals in their last four games. The Rangers have won eight out of their last ten.
Defenseman – James Wisniewski – Anaheim Ducks
This will be Wisniewski’s first game back at Columbus since he was traded to the Ducks on deadline day. Wiz has two assists and a minus-four in his first seven games for the Ducks but figures to have a potentially big night against his former team.
Goalie – Pekka Rinne – Nashville Predators
The Predators will host the Montreal Canadiens at 8 p.m. ET. Nashville is just three points behind the Habs for the best record in the league despite having lost seven out of their last ten games. Montreal ranks 23rd in the NHL for goal scoring which sets up well for Rinne, who has a .927 save percentage on the season with four shutouts.
